Job title: Lean Process Engineer Location: Samlesbury - Onsite only Salary: £47,683 (dependent on skills and experience) What you'll be doing: Responsible for continuous improvement, being an innovator of positive change that impacts Safety, Quality, Deliver, Cost and People Drives execution of Lean principles and all related initiatives such as Kaizen, structured problem solving and other "Best in Class" continuous improvement processes Lead various cross-functional teams with manufacturing operations in support of Kaizen and Lean Action Work-out events Create and improve Value Stream Maps to find opportunities for production/ process enhancement to achieve organizational goal Implement Lean Manufacturing strategy and initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process/ workflow improvements, and visual management, and inventory reduction Create performance management reporting through Lean visual management methods and through Daily Management to improve SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People) Analysing problems, account for variances, drive for root cause and implement improved methods and procedures, create, review and update improvement plans Inspiring shop improvement through implementation and coaching of Daily Management from shop operators through management Your skills and experiences: Essential: Demonstrated experience in a production manufacturing role responsible for driving process improvements Exceptional organizational and project management skills; demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Awareness of Continuous Improvement principles such as Effective Line Management, Built in Quality, Process Control, Rate Manufacture (Takt & Flow), Kaizen, Standardised Work, Problem Solving, 5S - Workplace Organisation Proven experience in conducting Kaizens Desirable: Project Management experience is advantageous Benefits: You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
