Job Title: Engineering Compliance Specialist
Salary/Grade: £51,736 - £64,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Larne

We are looking for an Engineering Compliance Specialist to join our Global Solutions Engineering (GSE) Group. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within the Caterpillar Electric Power engineering team.
The opportunity:
We are looking for an Engineering Compliance Specialist to join our Global Solutions Engineering (GSE) Group. Reporting into the Global Process Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for all Global Solutions Engineering Product and Process compliance worldwide to ensure products meet regulatory requirements while providing superior performance, durability, quality, and serviceability.
What you will do:
* Ensure that all global solutions engineering products and processes comply with local and industry codes and standards worldwide such as UL2200 and Machinery Directive.
* Remain current on product regulatory requirements and related technology standards.
* Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
* Engage in engineering design reviews, and collaborate with process partners to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
* Champion compliance for all products under GSE design control.
* Lead process improvement projects for global solutions engineering.
What you have:
Education: An accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science degree or closely related technical qualification or progressive job-related experience.
Additional information:
* Up to 30% domestic and international travel can be expected to support global projects and initiatives.
