Job Purpose
To design and deliver a programme for managing all required building compliance activities including re-inspection surveys and identified routine maintenance activities to enable statutory compliance with applicable legislation.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
* Plan and undertake compliance site assessments, surveys and maintenance activities on a large portfolio of building assets across United Utilities
* Carry out ad-hoc building compliance surveys, sampling of any type on United Utilities property, write reports and make suitable recommendations regarding remedial action where necessary.
* Create and deliver emergency short term reactive (make safe) solutions and long term remedial action plans including the instruction and supervision of remedial works on site.
* Responsible for managing major remedial projects, providing expert technical advice to the business, acting in the operational interests of the business at all times and to supervise compliance technicians during minor remedial projects to ensure compliance.
* Responsible for the creation and review of role related risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work relevant to the role.
