We are currently partnering with a leading global engineering services company to look for a Head of Talent Acquisition to lead the team in Japan.
As the Talent Acquisition Head for Japan, you will be responsible for leading and executing our talent acquisition strategy in the Japanese market. You will oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to onboarding, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
* Manage and lead a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
* Foster strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of business strategies.
Talent Acquisition
* Identify and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including leveraging social media, job boards, and professional networks.
* Assess candidates effectively for fresh graduate programs, experienced hires, global secondments, and senior recruitment.
Employer Branding
* Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation in Japan and globally.
* Utilize social media and other digital channels to promote the organization's branding and values.
Data-Driven Approach
* Utilize data analytics to track key metrics, measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, and identify areas for improvement.
* Implement a robust candidate relationship management system to maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.
Qualifications And Skills
* Proven track record in talent acquisition, preferably in a multinational corporation.
* Proficiency in Japanese and English.
* Deep understanding of the Japanese labor market and cultural nuances.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, good communication skills.
