Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Design and Technology.
2. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and inspires student creativity.
3. Encourage students to develop their practical skills and theoretical knowledge in a variety of design and technology disciplines.
4. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
5. Provide support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their full potential.
6. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets.
7. Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are used appropriately.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Qualifications:
1. A degree in Design and Technology, Education, or a related field.
2. Teaching qualification and experience in a secondary school setting.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design and technology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
