A fabulous opportunity for a Tractor Driver on a family-owned business growing open field and other crops near Stratford upon Avon as arisen. My Client is seeking an organised, self-starter who is able to work under their own initiative. You will need to be flexible on hours worked, weather conditions may require spraying early morning and/or late evenings with time away from work in middle of day. Working as part of a small team & closely with their in-house agronomist, PA1, PA2 and PA4G are required - but full training will be provided if required. You will benefit from a structured busy year, operating a fleet of Fents and John Deeres tractors. This role will encompass all aspects of ground work, crop husbandry work, harvest haulage, fertiliser spreading, inter-row hoeing, JCB Loadall work and potentially 360 digger work Your main duties will be tractor driving undertaking various operations or general farm tasks; a Telescopic Handler license is an advantage, although spraying will be undertaken when required. Duties to include - · Tractor Driving · Liaising with other members of the team to aid in the above · Accurate record keeping using an on-line farm management system · General Maintenance of the Tractors and recording of daily/monthly checks · General farm work. - Accurate and timely applications of pesticides to crops- Hours of Work · Main season is between March and November · Our aim is to limit working hours to a maximum of 60hrs per week during the main season over 5 ½ per week · Winter season in the region of 40hrs per week Remuneration · Competitive salary in line with experience, rising after successful probation. · Annual holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holiday Salary: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year (depending upon experience) Benefits: Free parking On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: Stratford-upon-Avon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
