Overview of the role:
To provide project management expertise into Delkia’s portfolio – delivering key projects comprising product, process and system development. The post-holder will contribute to the enhancement of Delkia’s project management framework to ensure current and future projects within Delkia are delivered in line with best practice project management techniques.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with the Project Teams to deliver the assigned project to defined cost, schedule, and quality requirements, leading to a successful handover.
2. Support Tender Submissions from a Project Management perspective.
3. Prepare schedules and monitor progress against established baselines.
4. Tracking and monitoring project spending and reporting variances, using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
5. Establish and maintain weekly reporting, by setting up regular internal and external team meetings.
6. Prepare meeting packs/presentations, capturing minutes, agreed actions, updating teams and senior management.
7. Positively influence key stakeholders (both internal & external) associated with the project.
8. Develop and maintain project documentation templates.
9. Ensure all project deliverables are completed in line with the schedule.
10. Identify potential dependencies, assumptions, risks, exceptions, opportunities (DAREO), project problems, mitigation contingencies and implement corrective actions. Highlight where updates or escalations are required.
11. Play an active part in Lessons Identified process across all projects and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
12. Maintain established processes and develop new as required.
13. Take ownership and pride in your work and promote project management success through the team.
14. Manage proposed changes to project parameters – e.g. scope, budget, schedules.
15. Monitor the quality of project deliverables and ensure project objectives are met.
16. Conduct project meetings and attend programme and portfolio meetings where required.
17. Establish effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
18. Proven experience of effective working with those with specialist knowledge and expertise.

1. Degree (or working to) in Project Management.
2. APM Project Management Qualification.
3. Knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
