Our client is seeking a Bilingual French-English Order Processing Specialist to their team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate order processing, and maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams, third-party warehouses, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver excellent customer service via written communication, telephone, and face-to-face when required.
· Collaborate with the operations, sales, and warehouse teams to understand customer requirements and champion delivery compliance.
· Accurately process orders (manual and EDI) using the JDE Oracle system, ensuring correct item numbers, pricing, and adherence to stock allocations.
· Coordinate with 3rd-party warehouses to book, pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to customer guidelines.
· Ensure all deliveries into EU retail partners comply with the EU Toys Safety Directive, including labelling retail packaging appropriately with language warnings.
· Review and maintain open orders weekly, making updates to quantities, dates, pricing, and shipment schedules as needed.
· Reconcile open orders against 3rd-party warehouse platforms and follow up on delivery discrepancies or non-conformances.
· Maintain accurate internal records and collaborate with colleagues to resolve any issues.
· Provide coverage for other accounts when team members are unavailable.
Person Specification
· Fluent in French (essential).
· Proven experience in order entry with a high level of accuracy.
· Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central (beneficial but not essential).
· Experience working with colleagues where English is not their first language.
· Knowledge of product barcoding and EU compliance for the retail sector (advantageous but not essential).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is highly advantageous.
· Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (grades A-C) or equivalent.
