The successful candidate will be required to support with the general day to day maintenance of the premises which includes but not limited to: daily, weekly and month maintenance checks, site security, general plumbing, grounds maintenance whilst maintaining and providing a safe clean environment for students, staff and the community. This position will predominantly be based at Stewards Academy in Harlow. We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have some experience working within a trade (painting, decorating, plumbing etc) however this is not essential. Applicants will also need to have a good rapport with children and young people aged 4 - 16 years. Patience and a sense of humour are essential as you will be responsible for transporting students between schools using the school minibuses during the school day. Essential; Full UK driving licence Desirable: D1 entitlement but not essential as training will be provided 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year (Monday to Friday) 25 days annual leave per annum (plus bank holidays) Salary: Scale 5 point 9 - £27,115.00 per annum (including fringe allowance) Alternative shift patterns Week 1: 6:00am to 2:00pm Week 2: 12:00pm - 8:00pm To apply for this position, please apply through My New Term.
