The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent, professional regulator for the education workforce in Wales.
Working as part of the team responsible for leading the EWC’s policy, planning, and compliance work, the Policy and Planning Officer maintains an up-to-date knowledge of key developments within the education sector, undertakes research, collates information, and assists in developing and drafting papers and policy documents such as good practice guides for registrants. The Policy and Planning Officer will also assist in preparing and monitoring the EWC’s internal planning processes in support of its strategic, operational, and equality objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Excellent written and oral communication skills
2. Experience in developing and maintaining administrative processes, and organizing and facilitating meetings
3. Strong interpersonal and time management skills
4. Ability to collate diverse information and data
5. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential to the post
