A requirement for a (Senior) Subcontract Specialist has arisen within a global offshore and subsea services provider based in Aberdeen. This provider boasts a trusted reputation within the energy industry as a result of successful offshore operations spanning five decades. The Subcontract Specialist position is an integral part of an experienced team contributing to contractual/legal and tendering functions.
The role involves contributing to the establishment of the Bidders List, managing vendor selection, and preparing RFQs/ITTs aligned with project budgets, quality, and delivery targets. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontracts, monitoring supplier progress while managing procurement budgets and resolving disputes. The position also includes evaluating supplier performance, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
