Description Carnival UK is in search of a Crew & Maritime Senior Management Accountant, who is crucial in supporting our financial direction and nurturing a high-performing team. This role is pivotal in producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts specifically for the Crew and allocated parts of the Maritime sectors of the business. The responsibilities include not only the preparation of these accounts but also the implementation and oversight of related financial controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting. A key aspect of this position involves actively communicating any financial issues, decisions, and their potential impacts to various stakeholders across both the finance team and the broader business. This requires a strong ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that can inform strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role demands a proactive approach to identifying trends and anomalies in the financial data, ensuring that all financial processes are streamlined and efficient. Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information and providing support during budget planning and forecasting will also be critical.
