Quick Staff UK, a leading independent recruitment business, is pleased to be working with an established manufacturing organisation in the Pontypridd area. The Logistics Administrator will join a busy customer service, shipping, and planning department and will primarily be responsible for providing an effective customer service & shipping service to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organising and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
2. Preparing customs documents.
3. Reviewing, preparing, and executing sales orders and invoices.
4. Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
5. Monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines.
6. Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
7. Liaising and negotiating with logistical suppliers.
8. Answering customer queries.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience working within shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics.
2. ERP system experience required; SAP preferred but not essential.
3. Strong relationship building skills with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
4. Excellent IT skills including MS Office Excel.
5. Ability to work well as part of a team.
6. Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Hours of Work:
8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
