About The Role
Waldon Telecom, a part of M Group Services Telecom Division, is an essential infrastructure services provider to the mobile telecommunication sector in the UK.
We work on behalf of large mobile network operators to acquire, design, and construct mobile telecommunication base stations across the country.
Due to our continued success, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager to be part of our EE Team in the UK.
What will you be doing?
As the Junior Project Manager, you will support the Operations function with all build activities and quality of completed sites, manage INCM & Defect rectifications and revisits, complete any additional cost submissions to the client for recoverable costs. You will also work in conjunction with the Build Managers to complete BCQA on built sites.
This role fits within Waldon Telecom's wider team and will work collaboratively with the Build, Logistics & Commercial Teams.
You are likely to work three days at home and two days in the Waldon West Byfleet, Surrey OR Diseworth, Derby office.
What will your key responsibilities be?
* Coordinating BCQA Completions & Update the Internal & Client Portals.
* Planning INCM's that have been raised from Audits and assign Resource, Materials, Finance, Outages & Access.
* Updating the Project trackers, running PACS, Sitetracker, PMO and build gating reports daily.
* Managing Permit Usage for the Build Team.
* Attending client meetings and calls to present weekly and monthly slide packs.
* Booking Back Office Support for Site Visits.
* Compiling CPHSP document for Site Visits.
* Reviewing RAMS.
* Managing and submitting additional costs (ACR) to the client.
* Attending and presenting at internal meetings to discuss progress on works undertaken and planned.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
* UK full driving licence.
* Willing to travel to site once HSE training completed.
* Previous experience of coordinating administrative tasks within the construction phase, outages, construction phase health & safety plan (CPHSP’s), risk assessment & method statement (RAMs), trackers, and databases.
* Excellent I.T. and database skills.
* Team player with the ability to integrate easily.
* Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships with Stakeholders sharing information openly and to seek to offer support across the business where your area of specialism is required.
* Committed to providing outstanding customer service.
* A problem solver, able to think through solutions with the ability to construct arguments to display benefits delivered to/for the business.
* Energetic and self-motivated.
* Excellent attention to detail.
