Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Independent Practice in Seaham We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join an award winning independent, small animal practice where change for the better is welcomed This practice are recruiting due to expansion. Being an independent practice means they: Make their own decisions Clinical freedom No corporate hierarchy or shareholders - as such any suggested changes/investments can be implemented quickly. This is a busy first opinion practice, who appreciate and value their employees. Based at one site (so no traveling from branch to branch), allowing for client continuity. They have - Laparoscopic surgery, digital imaging facilities (including dental X ray), ultrasound, endoscope, diathermy, ECG & BP Monitoring, dental equipment, tonometry, in house Idexx lab suite, and are in the process of expanding practice facilities. Develop your skills, enjoy the clinical flexibility and freedom of independent practice, manage and follow through your own case load & maintain client continuity, whilst being part of a great close knit team. They have excellent qualified support staff, Animana practice management system and great clients (well mostly, lets be honest) Benefits: Salary dependent on experience (up to £55K) Want to train in / undertake keyhole surgery? RCVS / VDS fees paid CPD allowance £1500, plus 4 days No OOH 40hrs a week over 4 days, inc paid designated breaks and admin time. 1:3 Saturday mornings (8.30am till 12am) on a rota basis (consults only - with time back in lieu the following week).
