Training and professional development opportunities Skills and Qualities Required Proven Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a digital marketing role with a strong track record in managing many areas of marketing delivery Technical Skills : Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO tools, Canva, WordPress, social media, PR, CMS (ideally KEAP), paid adverts and photo & video creation Creative Flair: Ability to produce innovative designs and creative concepts that align with our brand. Strategic Mindset : Ability plan and develop marketing strategies across various channels, aligned with our company goals, analytics, and customer feedback. Excellent communication : Strong face to face and people skills, capable of managing expectations and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Project Management and Opportunities: Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines and make the most of opportunities that suddenly arise on tight deadlines. Careful Attention to Detail : Good understanding and delivery of grammar, copywriting and spelling. Responsibilities Marketing Strategy Development · You will be instrumental in showcasing Farmer Palmer’s as Dorset’s favourite family visitor attraction while maintaining our strong brand identity. · Create and execute marketing strategies to promote the park, events, and partnerships. · Plan and manage the annual marketing calendar. · Ensure all marketing activities align with the park’s brand guidelines and vision. Content Creation & Social Media · Develop creative content for social media platforms, including posts, reels, and stories for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Manage and grow social media accounts, ensuring follower engagement and community interaction. · Write blogs, monthly newsletters, and website copy to entertain, inform, and educate our audience. · Take high-quality photos and videos of animals, visitors, and events for promotional use. Digital Platform & Website Management · Update and manage the company website using WordPress CMS. · Ensure website content is accurate, SEO-optimized, and engaging. · Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics and implement improvements. Design & Creative Tasks · Design in-house marketing materials such as posters, signage, and advertisements using tools like Canva. · Collaborate with designers and external partners for larger campaigns. Event & Campaign Coordination · Assist with planning and promoting park events, competitions, and special offers. · Produce content for public relations, including press releases and media outreach. Analytics & Reporting · Monitor the performance of campaigns and social media platforms. · Provide regular reports to Directors with actionable insights based on data analysis. Customer Engagement · Respond to customer reviews on platforms like TripAdvisor and Google. · Ensure a seamless visitor journey from pre-visit planning to follow-up feedback. Personal Specification Essential Skills & Qualifications · Have a 2:1 degree (Preferred subjects: Marketing: Travel & Tourism, English, Phycology, Ecommerce or Business) · A Level English or Business Studies · Minimum 2 years’ experience in digital marketing. · Strong skills in content creation, social media management, and SEO. · Proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics. · Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills. · Attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret marketing data. Desirable Skills · Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry. · Basic HTML knowledge and experience with CRM tools like Keap. · Proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns and budgets.
