Introduction:
A Personal Assistant is required to support a man in his own home and occasional trips out to places of interest.
I am 80 years old and have Parkinson’s disease which sometimes affects my mobility, I like to be outside as much as I can, I like growing vegetables, fishing, repairing things, cooking, wine making, going out for chips at the seafront or a coffee sometimes and I might need help to get into my wheelchair.
My vision is poor, and I may on occasion need help to find books or documents and use the computer.
My condition is variable, I can be quite mobile, but at times I need to sit quietly until the “off” period passes.
