W&A is partnering with a leading renewables business in Glasgow to find a skilled and strategic Group Finance Manager.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations for a growing organisation. You’ll be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, delivering meaningful insights to stakeholders, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:
1. A post qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar role
2. Prior team supervisory / management experience
3. A grounding in financial control and reporting
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Commercial acumen
6. Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
7. Team player with confidence to work with colleagues across the organisation at various seniority levels
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of the finance team, ensuring the processing function is carried out accurately and on a timely basis
2. Attend subsidiary board meetings presenting relevant financial information to enable informed decision making
3. Oversee the production of monthly group management accounts
4. Overall responsibility for the production of the monthly performance reporting pack
5. Produce monthly finance slides and be comfortable presenting at business update
6. Prepare rolling group cashflow, ensuring all variances are investigated
7. Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
8. Management of the corporation tax compliance process
9. Prepare annual budgets and maintain reforecast file
10. Develop project portfolio methodology and offer valuable insight for investment committee decision making
11. Preparation of various analysis for key stakeholders throughout the business
