Role: Welder (TIG)

Owen Daniels has engaged with a key client and an established Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the food industry, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a Welder (TIG) to join on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Arrange, position, and secure components and assemblies as per specifications, utilizing a straight edge, combination square, callipers, and ruler.
* Assemble, tack, weld, and flatten various parts according to the dimensions and specifications outlined in engineering drawings.
* Select appropriate equipment and welding techniques based on an understanding of metallurgy, geometry, and welding methods.
* Create templates and other tools to assist in holding and aligning parts.
* Ensure the final products meet company standards and adhere to specified requirements.
* Consistently adhere to safe working practice
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
* In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, with a strong focus on TIG welding.
* Mandatory experience working with stainless steel.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting welding symbols and specifications.
