People are at the core of CPM's business proposition, so as a key member of the CPM team, this role is expected to make a significant contribution to the culture within CPM via demonstrable initiatives to drive best practice and continuous improvement. A winning attitude combined with a digital mindset is essential for success in this role.
The main focus of this role is to provide achievement and delivery against the Client’s Key Result Areas and targets for CPM by maximizing orders/sales in & out in their assigned stores across all SKUs. The Territory Sales Developer role is a combination of sales, merchandising, and activating. They are responsible for the availability of the core range, share of space, and activations within their geographical region.
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
* To increase business and maximize sales
* To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
* Adhere to a defined retail call file and journey plan
* Deliver and execute the agreed objectives and targets as set out by your line manager
* To increase distribution and availability within stores of the core range and process appropriate orders electronically for all stores to prevent gaps
* To increase distribution and availability within stores by implementing national and locally agreed planograms and promotions
* Record all data accurately and submit it in a timely manner on a daily basis
* Sell in and build activations in line with company targets
* Merchandising off sales
* To understand and identify the needs of the customer
* Communicate effectively with store management and line managers
* Provide feedback at regular intervals through verbal communication with your manager/coach and through electronically generated spreadsheets
* Constantly strive to reach the highest standards of performance
* Maintain CPM and Client standards at all times
* Attend a team conference call once a week and team meeting once a month/quarter
* To generate new ideas and ways of working
* To consistently strive to reach the highest standards of performance for customers
* To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
Minimum Requirements:
* Full driving license is essential
* Previous sales or merchandising experience in the retail sector
* A good understanding of the FMCG sector with knowledge of the convenience channel is desirable

* Technology aware and intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Word, Outlook, Power BI)
Compensation:
* £25,000 - £28,000 per annum DOE
* Competitive plus 10% bonus based on performance per quarter
