An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an Administrative Team Leader/Medical Secretary within the North Wales Adolescent Service, based in Abergele.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the administrative and clerical staff within the team and will also provide a secretarial service to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Consultant Psychiatrist and other clinical staff within the North Wales Adolescent Service.

Applicants must be a team player and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work flexibly and have the ability to prioritise, and work well under pressure.

Experience
* Significant office administration experience
* Experience of working to strict deadlines and prioritising tasks.
* Experience of communicating confidential information.
* Experience of using Microsoft Packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience of supervising and/or managing staff.
* Experience of organising workload and people
* Experience of coordinating administration activities.
Skills
* Able to use electronic information systems.
* Organisation - ability to manage diaries, set up filing systems, work to strict deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.
* Able to work independently but also as an effective team player.
* Knowledge of patient confidentiality.
* Previous experience using the hospital WPAS or similar system.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* Level 3 Diploma in Medical administration or equivalent experience
* NVQ 4 in Business admin, customer care or management, or equivalent qualification (or working towards/ willing to achieve within 2 years)
* ILM Team Leading qualification/ willingness to learn or equivalent qualification or experience.
