We have a new opportunity for a Band 7 District Nurse to join our North Hardwick Nursing team in Derbyshire. You will benefit from working alongside our existing Senior Community Nurse as well as the wider Integrated Community Team, to deliver high quality nursing care across North Hardwick offering a varied and vibrant demographic.
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced District Nurse with a passion for Community nursing and a wealth of Community experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a desire to develop their leadership skills in a supportive environment.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this job are 50% Leadership/teaching and 50% Clinical. This is a developing post within our locality. The initial role will be to provide clinical and management support to the current Senior Nurses in our North Hardwick Teams with the potential for line management of Senior Nurses and overall management of a specific team.
In addition, they will lead in developing nursing services within North Hardwick and implementing change alongside their fellow District Nurses, Clinical leads and the wider leadership team.

Person Specification
Education, Qualifications and Training
* First Level registered Nurse
* Specialist Community Practice District Nursing Qualification
* Evidence of recent post registration/professional learning
* Prescribing Qualification ( either V100, V150 or V300)
Experience and Knowledge
* Comprehensive understanding of national and local policy in relation to community health services.
* Understanding of partnership and integrated team working
* Proven track record of leading change and influencing practice
Skills and Attributes
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Leadership and ability to manage a team
