Qualifications/Experience: Sound retail experience and knowledge (charity experience not essential), excellent people management skills and awareness of Health & Safety compliance are essential. The ability to plan, organise and communicate effectively, apply sound judgement and be able to work under pressure are the key skills requirements of the role. Duties to include: Working in conjunction with the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing volunteers and stock, ensuring a productive and well-presented shop is maintained, to maximise sales and profits. You will need to be able to work unsupervised in a methodical and organised manner and be flexible to the needs of the charity, covering holiday and sickness absences. Flexibility, full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential. The contracted hours for this position are 18 hours per week over 3 days covering shop opening hours (Monday – Sunday).
