What you'll do
We are looking for a Product Programme Manager with demonstrable experience in Project & Programme management who can work closely with the Lead Product Programme Manager to shape and drive the team strategy, governance, roadmaps and fixed & converged product development and delivery cycles. You will be empowered to work autonomously, leading our Product Managers with governance, planning, reporting and processes and independently managing the day-to-day operational management of the department.
You will need to focus on Vodafone's new product, Broadband Battery Backup (BBU) designed to support routers and ONT in an event of a power outage, establishing governance, management & assurance of this new product line and enable its evolution and expansion.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Project/Programme Manager to be part of and responsible for aspects of managing a growing department, offering breadth and depth across operational management, and helping us to develop & deliver outstanding & compliant products of the future.
Key Accountabilities:
* Lead & manage departmental Capex & Opex budget planning & finance management; including business cases such as BBU.
* Developing & reporting against business goals & success metrics; leading & managing improvements in the reporting processes for the team; including embedding new BBU product line.
* Building & managing of the portfolio roadmaps & establishing new BBU roadmap & strategy, keeping the team on track with their deliverables, maintaining a holistic view across the team.
* Owning & leading programme delivery meetings, reports & process.
* Coach & drive Product Managers to adopt and utilise all reporting & governance processes, including ensuring new product lines operate as needed, such as BBU.
* Creating, implementing & leading on compliance & risk mitigation processes reducing risk on all projects & activities e.g., BBU.
Who you are
You must have a good understanding of the Broadband marketplace and Connected Home Devices and previous experience in a project / programme management role. We'll look for a passion for consumer products in the connected home sector.
In addition, you will be/have:
* An excellent communicator and influencer with the ability to inspire at all levels of an organisation.
* Strong stakeholder management skills; experienced in building strong and trusting relationships with both external partners and internal stakeholders.
* Strong verbal, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions.
* Strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable to coach, manage and lead others to achieve outcomes.
* Ability to manage priorities in fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Reliable, self-organized, pragmatic, with a "Can-do" and "Hands-on" attitude.
* Strong initiative and are comfortable working independently or collaborating as a team.
* Ability to work across multi-functional, multi-level and cultural boundaries to deliver services and change.
