Job Details
Truck Driver
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Responsibilities
* Address customers' complaints or concerns.
* Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
* Demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
* Load and unload goods.
* Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
* Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
* Perform brake adjustments.
* Perform emergency roadside repairs.
* Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
* Perform preventive maintenance.
* Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
* Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
Qualifications
* AZ class license.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Willing to travel cross-border.
* Willing to travel for extended periods and overnight.
