Job Title: SEN Tutor
Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN)
* Develop and implement personalised learning plans based on students' individual needs and abilities
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning and development
* Provide feedback to students and their support network to track progress and address areas of improvement
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN educational practises and strategies
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN Code of Practise
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Experience with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia or autism
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
* Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or learning centres
* Potential travel to different locations to provide tutoring services

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
