Position: RMN or any other AHP with Experience in CAMHS
Responsibilities:
1. Mentorship and caseload management.
2. Mental health assessment, risk assessment, and risk management.
3. Effective interpersonal skills and active listening.
4. Team player with strong record-keeping abilities.
5. Offering supervision and deputising in the absence of senior colleagues and line manager.
6. Managing and resolving formal and informal complaints.
7. Recognising and acting on risk and safeguarding concerns.
8. Adhering to the team standard operating procedure.
9. Managing a caseload of children in Barking & Dagenham CAMHS team ensuring evidence-based treatment and interventions in line with NICE Guidelines.
10. Conducting reviews and clinical harm reviews on CYP who have not had contact for over 6 months.
11. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all CYP on their caseload, ensuring they have an up-to-date SMART co-produced care plan and risk assessment.
12. Proactive coordination and partnership working with the CYP, their carers, and other agencies involved.
13. Referring onwards to other services that best meet their needs.
14. Attendance at professional meetings, CIN, and safeguarding.
15. Supporting the team with duty and supporting trainees during placements.
16. Actively participating in service developments, audits, and QI projects.
