We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our talented legal team based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. To be successful, you will already have experience as a legal secretary in a fast-paced environment. You will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office.
What we're looking for?
1. Working on a range of activities including typing/digital dictation and telephone calls.
2. Preparation and processing of legal documents and land registry applications.
3. Manage, organise, and update electronic and hard copy systems, files, deeds and other documents.
4. Assisting all Solicitors with day-to-day tasks.
5. Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and to connect departments/groups.
6. Other clerical work such as filing, arranging diaries, keeping records.
7. Carry out any other reasonable tasks which may be required from time to time and to assist the Legal Department to serve relevant divisions of the Group.
Skills
1. Excellent secretarial skills.
2. Audio typing essential.
3. Exceptional skills in organisation, administration, diary management, filing and keeping records.
4. Excellent Microsoft Word (in particular use of tracked changes), Excel, and Outlook. PowerPoint would be an advantage.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Able to deal with a high volume of work and prioritise accordingly.
