As a Team Manager in our Adults’ Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you’ll lead a vital service dedicated to providing quality safeguarding responses to the residents of Hampshire. Our team receives all adult safeguarding referrals from across the county, and we work closely with our partner agencies, including the police and the health service, to give the best possible response when concerns are reported. What you’ll be doing: Providing line management to the team, overseeing workloads, ensuring quality, managing performance and enabling professional development. Leading the team to deliver excellent safeguarding interventions. Taking responsibility for key decision-making, including agreeing outcomes for escalations and complaints. Engaging in strategic planning to maintain a high standard of service and continuously improve in a changing environment. Managing complex multi-agency work, negotiating with partner agencies using robust legal knowledge. What we’re looking for: Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE). Extensive experience managing complex cases, supervising others and acting as a senior decision maker. Leadership skills to influence, motivate and manage others. Strong knowledge of local and national safeguarding policies and procedures. Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Great organisational skills and resilience in adapting to changing priorities. Commitment to demonstrating our values and behaviours, showing compassion, empathy and respect. Why join us?
