Project Centre, part of Marston Holdings, is a leading design, engineering and landscape architecture consultancy that is passionate about designing sustainable places for the people who use them. We offer a range of services focused on providing our clients with the very best planning, design, engineering, and engagement solutions. Our Communications and Engagement team deliver public consultation, community engagement, behaviour change and communications programmes, and analyse the outcomes of these to shape how local authorities deliver projects and policies.
We are looking for a Senior Engagement Consultant to join our growing team. This is a great role for someone ready to step up and take a lead role in the delivery of projects. You will join a fast-paced and growing consultancy team that helps clients connect with their communities and stakeholders and involve them in the decisions that impact the way they live, work and travel.

What you’ll do:
* Develop high-quality consultation, engagement and communications plans
* Lead the delivery of projects within budget and deadlines
* Build strong relationships with internal project teams and be a single point of contact in the Communications and Engagement team, providing expert advice to achieve shared outcomes
* Ensure junior members of the team are well supported and help contribute to their development
We’re looking for someone who has:
* Experience in the design and delivery of public consultations, community engagement and behaviour change projects
* Demonstrated experience producing and translating technical information into clear and plain English communications, for example reports, web copy, leaflets and promotional materials
* Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in the infrastructure or planning sectors is beneficial, but definitely not essential
* Knowledge or experience within one or more of the following is beneficial, but definitely not essential:
* InDesign and Photoshop or other content development software
* Data collection and analysis process
* Digital engagement platforms like Commonplace, Citizen Lab or Engagement HQ
* Facilitation skills
What you’ll receive:
* £35,000 – £48,000 depending on experience
