THE ROLE: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Paid Social Account Manager to join our award-winning team at VCCP Media. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop Paid Social best practices and inspire creativity within the agency while collaborating with the wider media team to deliver exceptional results for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industry sectors. You’ll report to the Head of Paid Social and work in close collaboration with the rest of the social team, as well as a pod of planners and other channel specialists to contribute to a range of projects across our existing clients. You’ll be a key contact for clients on everything social, delivering sage advice, brilliant management, and taking a vested interest in their success, helping them drive business forward. We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in paid social planning and buying across key channels like Meta and TikTok, with an excellent track record of delivering excellence. You’ll need a genuine passion for social media and keeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform updates. You’ll also need creative flair - creativity has never been more important in the media mix, and we need Paid Social specialists who want to have a say on what best-in-class creative in media looks like KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Client Communication and Collaboration: You’ll be directly integrated into planning and strategy teams to collaboratively develop integrated and data-driven media plans in response to client briefs. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for internal and client Paid Social requests and will need to collaborate effectively with clients and planning teams to address day-to-day requests. You’ll take the lead in client meetings and performance reviews for everything social, providing informed and data-driven guidance and actionable next steps. You’ll be key in building strong client relationships, working with the wider team to understand their business objectives and applying channel-specific solutions to drive outcomes and keep clients happy. Campaign Strategy and Execution: You’ll be responsible for planning best-in-class Paid Social campaigns across a variety of platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, and LinkedIn, aligned to client objectives and creative best practices. You’ll lead the end-to-end management of signed-off media plans, including building, budget management, ad quality assurance, and in-flight optimisation so you’ll need to demonstrate expertise in setting up, managing, and optimising Paid Social campaigns on major platforms, ensuring flawless execution and industry-leading approaches, particularly during product launches and promotional periods. You’ll need to stay up to date on platform content and updates, keeping the wider agency and clients in the loop on key trends and wider changes that could impact activity. You need to integrate creativity into everything you do - We’re a media agency in a creative agency, so we’re creative strategists as well as media planners Paid Social is a visual media channel, so an interest in and flair for creative strategy is key. You’ll be responsible for driving innovation in Paid Social across your clients, exploring new channels, testing new approaches, and embracing emerging creative formats to constantly push boundaries. Prior experience of using creator content or influencer partnerships within paid media would be beneficial. Even better if you’ve helped clients solve briefing and producing of this kind of creative Reporting and Analysis: You’ll be responsible for regular campaign performance reports, including weekly and bi-weekly updates, as per client requirements, presenting clear and concise data insights to both clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll conduct in-depth analyses of campaign data, identify trends, extract actionable insights to inform optimization strategies and improve future campaign performance, and lead the development of post-campaign analyses and quarterly business reviews for social channels. You’ll utilize data visualization tools like Looker to effectively communicate data findings and present compelling narratives based on campaign performance. You’ll need to be proficient in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to measure campaign impact and user behaviour, leveraging data to inform and refine campaign strategies.
