Job Description – Business Administrator
UK Direct Business Solutions are an established and fast-growing Utilities Consultancy based in Houghton-le-Spring.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Administrator to join our growing team, ensuring seamless processing of data spreadsheets together with meter checks and general administration duties. You will play a pivotal part in the sales journey and will support in identifying and minimising potential risk to DBS and its customers to guarantee satisfaction for the business, clients & stakeholders. Liaising with suppliers and key partners is an essential part of the role to ensure issues are quickly identified and resolved.
Key Responsibilities
* Gathering requested information from suppliers via email or phone.
* Chasing suppliers for any missing information not provided.
* Accurate data entry.
* Conducting meter checks.
* Creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
* Performing any ad hoc duties as requested.
Essential Qualifications
* Experience within an administration team.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
* Well organised in a high-pressured sales environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Computer literate – must be proficient in Excel & comfortable monitoring multiple Outlook mailboxes simultaneously.
* Flexibility to suit the needs of the business.
* Ability to work alone and be part of a team.
* Strong multi-tasker.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of the energy sector.
* Experience within an administration team.
Package
* Full-time, Permanent.
* Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 depending on experience + bonus.
* Holidays: 32 days inclusive of Bank Holidays and the Christmas Period off.
