Workshop Manager – Secondary & Architectural Steelwork
We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Workshop Manager for our client's successful and well-established business that specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of a variety of secondary and architectural steelwork projects.
You will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Workshop Management, ideally within the steelwork industry, but other industries will be considered.
Workshop Manager duties include:
* Ensure project deadlines are met by planning, coordinating and overseeing the workflow and production schedules.
* Liaise with QC to make sure all products meet the company and customer specifications.
* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments in line with necessary health and safety regulations.
* Continually assess and identify any areas of improvement and implement strategies.
* Effective Team Leader.
Workshop Manager Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years in a Workshop Management position is essential, ideally within the steelwork industry.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A strong ability to use Microsoft Office software.
* IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
* Proven experience of man-management; this role requires you to manage an established team.
* Live within/commutable distance of the workshop.
