Due to expansion, Trinity are seeking a Streetworks Coordinator to be based out of our office in Wolverhampton. Please note, this role is maternity cover for 12 months with no option of the role going permanent. The partnership's mission is to enable Cadent, the UK's largest gas distribution network, to deliver a safer, more resilient and more sustainable gas system to communities in the West Midlands for generations to come. About the role: This is an integral role within the street works team, assisting in the delivery of the business goals by submitting permits to the local authority and managing the day to day running of the permits. Working with LDPs the Streetworks Manager will ensure compliance with NRSWA requirements as required for the planning and completion of works to comply with Permit and Noticing legislation by Local Authorities and Highways England. Accountable for day to day management of permit applications, monitoring start closure, inputing amendments adding comments and responding to challenges. All to meet the requirements of the NRSWA 1974. Written an oral communication should be of a very high standard when dealing with all third party stakeholders. Location: Willenhall, Wolverhampton Salary: £24,000 per annum Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm (with a 30 min unpaid break) Responsibilities – but not limited to: Submitting permits to the local authorities Collating and distributing starts and closure reports via email. Chasing the LDP on any due starts, closures or possible extensions required. Collating and distributing comments & challenges report via email. Submitting any variations to the permit via SAP Uploading documents to street manager i.e. TM Applications & CADs Attend planning meetings as and when necessary. Collaborate with other co-ordinators to share insights, experiences, and best practices. Attend regular meetings via teams with the planning department discuss any challenges and opportunities. Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required: Previous experience in similar streetworks roles or organisations desirable A genuine interest in Streetworks and the utility industry. Experience of Power B.I, Skewb, Sap, Outlook, WMT and Street Manager desirable Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage your own workload and establish priorities. Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy Willingness to undertake further training as required.
