Office Support / Finance Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Office Support / Finance Assistant to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance administration and office support, particularly in QuickBooks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations while providing essential administrative support to the wider office.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
* Manage accounts payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payments.
* Oversee accounts receivable (AR), processing customer invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
* Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
* Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end financial reporting.
* Assist in processing employee expenses and company reimbursements.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and audits as required.
Office Support & Administration
* Handle general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management.
* Assist with office supply management, vendor coordination, and day-to-day office operations.
* Support HR and finance teams with payroll administration and record-keeping.
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers regarding financial matters.
* Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations is essential.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial records accurately.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in an office support or administrative role is beneficial.
