Our Accounts team play a vital part in the functioning of the firm and they are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join them in the Newcastle Office. You will assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts as well as the maintenance of ledgers and related records. You will also assist with the annual budgeting process, and be responsible for coordinating the preparation and submission of monthly client returns, and contribute towards the maintenance and development of the financial reporting systems.
It will be important that you have strong interpersonal skills, as you will be required to support people at all levels of the business with ad hoc reports and accounts information as required.
A professional services background would be beneficial but this is not essential. You will be a qualified accountant or are working towards a professional accountancy qualification and it is essential that you have strong analytical skills and are confident in the use of Excel. You should be organised and have good attention to detail with a flexible approach to the workload.
