We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to our client's team!
JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant
COMPANY: Construction
CONTRACT: 6-9 month FTC (maternity cover)
HOURS: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8am-1pm (flexibility around hours)
START: Beginning of April
HOURLY RATE: £14-15ph
LOCATION: Ringwood
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Accounts Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping the financial records in tip-top shape. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing Invoices: Process and manage incoming and outgoing invoices with precision and speed.
2. Maintaining Records: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately in Xero.
3. Reconciliation: Assist in bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced.
4. Support the Team: Collaborate with other team members to assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
5. Customer Interaction: Provide friendly support to clients regarding billing inquiries and payment statuses.
6. Reporting: Help prepare financial reports and statements as needed.
Who We're Looking For:
