Job Description
Legal and General Retail's Customer Value Analytics team are hiring for a new Data Analytics Manager to run a high performing team of customer value analyst to deliver excellence in statistical analytics, predictive modelling and robust performance and test evaluations to drive lifetime customer value.
The role will see you building and delivering data science strategies and solutions as well as improvements to the current analytics portfolio while working with stakeholders to drive maximum value from the oues of strategic initiatives. You will deliver, test and monitor the performance of the predictive model portfolio including customer segmentation, attribution modelling, propensity analysis and other techniques to optimise value from the customer base. What you'll be doing:
1. Managing, developing and motivating the team, ensuring appropriate knowledge transfer and training exists to ensure the production of robust, actionable customer analysis
2. Developing approaches, processes and innovations in both L&G's Data and Data Science strategies to challenge current approaches and lead to improvements in trading performance and customer experience
3. Developing and deploying segmentation, profiling and landscaping to understand customers and improve marketing, retention, engagement, conversion performance
4. Utilising attribution modelling, propensity analysis and other techniques to measure and optimise business performance
5. Developing the customer analysis route map including the development of new techniques, tools and capability Working with senior stakeholders and local teams to build strong relationships and influence change
6. Managing the day-to-day relationship with external suppliers to ensure that the workpleted is cost effective and relevant
7. Providing expertise and consulting on the uses of analysis and insight to drive more effective sales and marketing performance
8. Ensuring that the team stores all data in apliant manner with L&G's data storage policy and that the data is transferred in a secure manner in accordance with L&G's policies and the GDPR
Qualifications

9. Demonstrated build and deployment experience with evidence of model influence over the decision making process
10. Demonstrated ability in articulating apelling story to capture minds and passion of key stakeholders
11. Excellent report creation, visual representation and analytical explanation
12. Highly effectivemunication skills and the ability to translate detailed analysis intoprehensive, clear documents, business cases and presentations
13. Proven capability to analyse performance, identify trends and produce actionable rmendations
14. Developing and embedding induction, training and ongoing coaching plans for other analysts
15. Deputising for Head of Customer Value Analytics in Leadership settings, especially with 3rd party suppliers
