We have an exciting opportunity within a prestigious Accountancy Practice for a Bookkeeper/ Administrator, to be based in their Whitehaven, Cumbria Office.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Posting purchase and sales invoices in the bookkeeping accounting software
2. Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
3. Posting and reconciling bank statements
4. Allocating accounts manager in managing and sorting out client’s data
5. Preparation and submission of VAT returns
6. Preparation of customer accounts and self-assessment tax returns
7. Reporting the results of the assigned work to accounts manager
8. Sorting out supplier invoices
9. Centralised client document scanning and saving to CRM
10. Liaising with branches for their scanning requirements
11. Dealing with files and sending for storage
12. Preparing correspondence to clients
13. Dealing with telephone and in-person enquiries
14. Bookkeeping and various other accounting tasks
15. Filing and scanning documentation
16. Data entry
17. Dealing with inward and outward post
18. Undertake ad-hoc works as directed by the Management
Job specifics:
• Job Types: Full-time, Permanent with a minimum 37.5 Hours Per week
• Working days: Monday to Friday
