3. Accurate processing and timely payment of invoices
4. Maintaining the purchase ledger
5. Reconciliation of supplier statements
6. Handling supplier queries
7. Assisting with month-end closing
8. Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
9. Adhering to financial regulations and standards
10. Collaborating with the wider Accounting and Finance team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger should have:
11. A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes
12. Experience working in the Accounting and Finance sector
13. Excellent attention to detail
14. Strong numerical skills
15. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
16. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
17. A team player attitude
