The Role: Service Chemist / Account Manager

This role will suit someone who relishes the challenge and work-ownership of growing a part-worked territory, working as part of a team and autonomously, overseeing your own schedule and delivery.


Manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through developing and managing technical projects to solve customer problems.

This role is focused on but not limited to food, beverage, pharma and light manufacturing industries.


Rapid progression to Account Management is available.


Main Responsibilities

* Hands on role visiting customers, testing water systems and making recommendations
* Provide technical support to current customer base and escalate as required
* Embody safety leadership
* Effective daily work management for current and future customers
* Recommend solutions with Company programs.
* Effective management communication and reporting
* Customer focused approach


Attributes Required:

* Over 2 years’ industry experience
* Chemistry related Degree or A-Levels such as Chemistry, Biology, microbiology etc or Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
* A willingness to collaborate as part of a technically excellent team and service whilst being valued for your contribution
* Aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers.
* Ability to work hands on with samples
* Self-motivated and ability to work and develop under your own initiative
* A desire to grow your career and be supported whilst doing so
