Description of the role
This is an exciting and essential new role here at Wolfson, and involves managing and maintaining the functionality, content and performance of the affiliate and CPA Shopify stores across all our brands. The successful candidate will ensure stores run smoothly, are continuously optimised for security and compliance, whilst delivering a seamless experience across all markets. This includes overseeing store setups, ongoing updates, technical support and localisation, to meet the needs of different markets.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:
● Website monitoring and updates
● Providing technical support for Web issues
● Security, compliance and app maintenance
● Store setup and configuration
● Shopify CMS and Backend Management
● Managing geo-targeted translations and store localisation
● Managing general and basic SEO tasks
● Tracking performance analytics, reporting and store checks
● Supporting web development tasks
● Content and Blog Management, uploading and editing theme files
● Managing URL de-indexing to improve or remove SEO content, and
● Setting up shipping options

Experience delivering many of the responsibilities of this role would be ideal, however the specific skills and attributes we are looking for are as follows:
● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to build good relationships with Wolfson colleagues and external partners
● The ability to be flexible in a changing environment and work to strict deadlines.
● The ability to be flexible, adaptable and to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
● Time management skills, and a great ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, ideally using task management tools such as Trello
● Familiarity with on-site SEO best practice
● Content management, with skills in managing and updating content as required
● Shopify store and app expertise, with proficiency in managing multiple stores
● Web development knowledge, and a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
● Familiarity with SEO tools, photo and blog editing tools and comms tools
● Experience of creating and managing performance dashboards with Google Data Studio
Please note that for this role, you could either be based in our Glasgow office or work from home. Whilst the majority of the work can be done online and therefore remotely, there will still be a requirement for in office collaboration from time to time, especially for all-team training and team building days - we’ll work with you on travel plans to understand what’s best depending on your circumstances and location.
If you’re not local to Glasgow, all travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
Salary : between £28,000 and £32,000
