KS5 Teacher with SEND Handsworth Pay: £130 - £190 daily Full-Time Start date: January 6th 2025 Temporary to Permanent Position Monarch is trilled to partner with a ASC Primary School in Handsworth seeking a specialised SEND Teacher for September to join the team. This position is full time with a start date in The New Year. Applicants will be expected to support the educational journey of students with autism by follow individualised learning plans (EHCP's), and with the help of specialised teaching assistants and other professionals. What actually is the role available? You would be teaching in a special school for children with a diagnosis of autism. The school itself, is currently undergoing the exciting transformation from a Primary Special School to an all-age Special School for pupils from 4 up to 16. All pupils have a diagnosis of Autism and have an EHCP. You would be working with KS5 children in a smaller class setting. The children are mixed ability so you would need to be creative in your approach to learning, to ensure every student thrives in your classroom.
