This Social Media Executive role is ideal for a talented and creative content & social media candidate looking for a big new challenge. We’re looking for candidates with 2+ years of integrated/digital social media marketing experience, with excellent strategic thinking and project management skills.
Candidates will need to be highly organised and accountable, have strong attention to detail and have a track record of building strong client relationships. They will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be an energetic and positive team player.
Your mission for this Role:
As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for creating compelling content and managing the brand’s social media presence. You will have the exciting opportunity to drive brand awareness, engage the target audience, and contribute to marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the brand’s goals and target audience.
2. Help organise digital marketing briefs and campaigns.
3. Manage and curate the brand’s content and adverts across social media platforms.
4. Identify opportunities for content creation.
5. Monitor marketing trends and competitor activities.
6. Create engaging and high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, website copy, and social media content.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers.
8. Optimise content for SEO and track performance using relevant analytics tools.
9. Engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and social media management.
11. Monitor and report on content and social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
1. 2+ years proven experience in digital marketing, social media, or a similar role.
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent written and visual content creation skills.
3. Experience working on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, Programmatic advertising, and SEO SEM Rush.
4. Experience working with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Klaviyo.
5. Knowledge of conversion reporting using Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
6. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of professionalism.
7. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
8. Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
