You'll lead and manage a team of up to 40 staff members, with two direct reports, a Registered Manager and a Service Co-ordinator. Your responsibilities include providing strong leadership, ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting safeguarding practices, and advocating for children and families. Key Responsibilities: Ensure service delivery meets regulations and performance standards Act as the Responsible Individual for the home Promote safeguarding practices and advocate for children and families Lead and develop a strong team Collaborate with business development, fundraising, and other colleagues Build and strengthen relationships with commissioners Contribute to tenders and grant applications Implement necessary changes and oversee resource planning About Monksfield: Monksfield is a 2 sided home for disabled children with moderate to severe learning difficulties. One side. Adlin, is a permanent home for up to 5 children and the other, Acorn is a short breaks service for children who live elsewhere but stay with us for a short break. The two sides are registered with Ofsted under one home registration. About You: We're looking for someone resilient with strong leadership skills and a positive approach to change. Ideally, you will have: L5 Leadership Qualification (or working towards) Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff Ability to develop and maintain effective networks and relationships Experience managing and delivering placement/commissioned services Knowledge of Ofsted regulatory requirements Experience managing operational services for children and families About Us: Join Action for Children and help change the lives of vulnerable children in the UK.
