Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in the hospitality industry, particularly within hotel management and food production. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining an efficient workflow in food preparation and culinary tasks.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including selection, development, and performance of employees.
* Oversee inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimizing profits and ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Make critical decisions that impact the success of the business every day.
* Achieve exemplary performance in every aspect of running the restaurant.
* Responsible for recruiting, training, development, and performance of Team Members.
* Ensure food costs, labor costs, and wastage figures are within company parameters.
* Adhere to company rules, procedures, standards, and licensing law at all times (Food Safety, Hygiene, Health & Safety, and HR procedures).
* Accomplish business objectives while maintaining the highest standards of customer service according to the strategy of Panda Mami Restaurants.

Minimum Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ management experience within high-volume and fast-paced restaurant business.
* A proven track record of guiding and developing teams – coaching, mentoring, and sharing enthusiasm.
* A talent for spotting and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively and hit deadlines.
* Knowledge of compliance and back-of-house processes.
Some or all of the following would be advantageous
* First Aid Certification.
* Fire Marshall/Warden Certification.
* Health & Safety Level 2.
* Food Safety Level 3.
Qualifications
* At least NVQ or SVQ level of education; higher education level will be treated as a plus.
* Advanced level of English and French language.
* At least 2 years of experience in a Managerial role in hospitality/retail; Senior Deputy Manager will be considered for the role; candidates with experience in a capacity of GM will be given priority in an assessment.
* Possesses H&S Level 2 and HACCP Level 2.
* Advanced First Aid Certificate.
* Fire Warden Certificate.
* Possession of Personal License will be treated as a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Additional pay:
* Performance bonus.
Schedule:
* Every weekend.
* Monday to Friday.
* Weekend availability.

* Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred).
