Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its research portfolio and seeking a Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality research, supporting commercial and sponsored clinical trials across specialties such as dementia, psychological therapies, and both physical and mental health.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing proactive and efficient administrative support to the research team.
* Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of tasks related to clinical trials and research projects.
* Collaborating with regional partners, including local Trusts, Universities, and research networks.
Main duties of the job
* Coordinating administrative setup for clinical studies and act as the primary contact for external stakeholders.
* Assisting with regulatory submissions, funding arrangements, and governance requirements.
* Collaborating with internal teams (research, pharmacy, radiology, finance) on study feasibility and resource needs.
* Ensuring timely data collection, monitoring data quality, and managing study amendments and adverse event reporting.
* Providing progress reports, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and ensuring proper archiving of study documents.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree in a science or health related discipline or a degree in another field with experience in clinical research.
* Post graduate certificate in clinical research or other post graduate qualification/experience.
* Research project monitoring.
* Previous NHS experience. Experience in Clinical Trials administration, including setup, data collection, audit and project co-ordination.
* Awareness of research governance, approvals and related legislation and inspection requirements (e.g. MHRA, HTA). An understanding of the clinical trial process.
* Excellent organisational skills, with a methodical approach and the ability to pay attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight and unexpected deadlines.
