We are currently seeking an experienced Children’s Home Deputy Manager to join a fantastic home for children aged 6-13 years old over in the Warwickshire area.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Contract: Full time, permanent
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join an established children’s residential home. The home is Registered for up to 4 children from 6-13 years old with a background of emotional behaviour difficulties and child sexual exploitation. Their residential children’s service has a reputation for providing outstanding levels of care and commitments to young people and their families.
Your key responsibilities as the Deputy Manager:
The role of the Deputy Manager is to support and work alongside the Registered Manager of the Residential Children’s Home in efficiently co-managing the house budget, overseeing the development of staff and the young people in placement, formulating and updating placement plans, risk assessments and positive handling plans.
You will support the Registered Manager in the delivery of high-quality service provision incorporating care, welfare, safety and security of all children and young people in his / her care and promoting the Company’s ethos as a Therapeutic and Activity based organization. You will also support the staff team in managing the day-to-day tasks of the home, working on shift as the lead person for role modelling and developing good practice and liaising with multi-agency partners.
What you need:
* Hold a Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare.
* Good knowledge around Children’s Homes regulations (2015), Children’s Homes Regulations including the quality standards
* Hold at least 3 years’ experience within a children’s residential homes and 1 years’ experience at a Senior or Team Leader level
* Hold a Full UK driving licence
