Are you a Health & Safety Advisor looking to take the next step in your career with a company in the built environment?
My client is currently hiring for a Health & Safety Advisor to play a pivotal role in delivering audits, inspections, and investigations (where needed). You will also contribute to the development procedures and processes to ensure their continued effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site audits and inspections across both company and client locations, identifying potential risks and recommending practical solutions.
Support continued compliance with internal processes, third-party certifications, and relevant regulatory standards.
Assist with investigations into incidents, near misses, and customer complaints, providing clear and accurate reports.
Collaborate with site managers and operational leads to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and refine safety procedures and support the rollout of effective audit and inspection programs.
Liaise with client sites and external certification bodies, acting as a key representative during audits and meetings.
Help maintain and enhance the business's reputation for best-in-class safety standards. Skills & Experience Required:
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (essential)
Strong experience in a similar Health & Safety role within construction or fire engineering (essential)
Proven ability to carry out H&S investigations and audits in line with company procedures
Skilled in report writing and communicating clearly at all levels, both internally and with clients
A proactive mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
Confidence in promoting and upholding a professional image of the company at all times
