Location YMCA Trinity- Ipswich. The role will be working with young people on our Ipswich Sites.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Accommodation team as an Assistant Engagement Officer. You will help manage and carry out engagement and intervention programs for the YMCA's youth population, maintaining a high standard of work practices and establishing a homely, safe, friendly, and nurturing atmosphere.
This will include working with the Project workers to plan new activities and create personalised support sessions around their current needs.

Skills and Experience In summary, the successful applicant will have the following qualities:
* High standard of communication, people and organisational skills
* Proven ability to use IT software including Microsoft Office and online databases
* Ability to work within a reactive environment and stay calm when under pressure
* Able to work evenings and weekends, including public holidays on a rota basis.
Days and hours 16 hours over weekends
Salary and Benefits Annual salary £8785.92
* 5 weeks holiday & public holiday allowance, plus a paid day off for your birthday (Pro rata)
